Choice
Teenagers
There are so many choices we have to make in life, from what to have for breakfast (hmm ... cheerios or shreddies??),to what we want to wear or even to what programme we want to watch on t.v.
Of course, these descisions are easy and we make them every day, but sometimes making the right choice isn't so easy.
Jill is very confused ..... she doesn't know whether to paint her toe nails blue or orange.
Most of the time, we'll get it right (or at least we like to think so!), but sometimes we need a little push (/shove!) in the right direction.
Jack is confused .... he had thought it would be cool to drink some vodka with his friends.
but now, in his French G.C.S.E next morning, he knows - it wasn't cool at all!!
This is why Dr. Audrey Coatesworth has written a book called
'Choice for Teenagers'.
This is a book of 'secondary school poetry' to help people choose the right decisions in life. The poems are written especially for teenagers aged 14 upwards and isn't really suitable for litle ones.
